The seminary received delegates of the National Universities Commission (NUC) for the process of accreditation on November 14, 2016 and it spanned till November 18, 2016. The visit aimed at securing a renewal of the seminary's affiliation with the University of Ibadan for the degree programme in the Department of Philosophy. On their visit to the seminary, they carried out their obligations ranging from inspections of the academic environment, the educational facilities, the competence of personnel, and other related activities. The visit was a successful one as the seminary excelled in all areas of expectations. Consequently, the seminary's affiliation with the University of Ibadan for the degree programme of philosophy was renewed for five years.

Administrative Block

In response to the recommendations and requirements of the National University Commission for the accreditation and renewal of our affiliation to the University of Ibadan for the award of B.A Phil, the Seminary began the construction of a new administrative block. the new structure which is a three storey building is located just in front of the St. John Paul II block, and it is near completion. upon completion all the administrative offices will be moved to the new building.
