The Seminary community celebrated in grand style the age-long Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols in honour of the nativity of our Lord. This event was celebrated on Sunday, 11th December, 2016 and 10th December 2017 in the Seminary. The Festival and its innate activities were channeled towards preparing us to receive our Saviour at Christmas. The orchestration of the Festival was anchored by the St. Gregory's Choir of the Seminary. It started with a welcome address delivered by the Rector of the Seminary, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Francis. Adesina, while the Christmas message was given by Rev. Fr. Kenneth Adesina  and Fr. Ibiyemi Victor . Both addresses were aimed at giving us insight into the festive season and how best to live it out during and after its celebration.

THE NEW SEMINARY DAILY REFLECTION  “WITH JESUS BY MY SIDE”

The seminary has conceived and given birth to another treasured idea. This is the new daily reflection titled, With Jesus By My Side. The presentation of the maiden edition was done during the 2016 Christmas carols by the vice Rector, Very Rev. Fr. Anthony Ewherido. It is a book with reflections on the daily readings of the year from the Season of Advent 2016 to the Season of Advent 2017. This collection of reflections was a product of committed collaborative efforts of both formators and seminarians. It was a response to the hunger for the word of God in our world. And as one would expect, the booklet was welcomed with admiration and commendations. However, the second edition from the season of Advent 2017 to the season of Advent 2018 is out.
