The semester examinations conducted at the close of lectures for every semester is reckoned as one of the means of measuring the intellectual formation of the seminarians of Saints Peter and Paul Major Seminary, Bodija, Ibadan. Having successfully fulfilled the requirements of every course, for both the degree in Philosophy and Theology, the seminarians, both diocesan and religious, officially began their First Semester Examinations for the 2019/2020 academic session on the 6th February, 2020. The period of examination is usually met with nostalgia. For, it is a period when one has to account for all he has been taught during the semester, yet it is also a period that indicates some level of growth and progress in the journey of formation to the Catholic Priesthood. Hence, while it wrought some feelings of anxiety, it also gives a sense of hope for the future. The level of examination conduct in the seminary is remarkable, and it further helps to develop the mark of integrity within the candidates for the Catholic Priesthood. As they continue this very decisive exercise, we place them into the loving care of our Mother Mary that she may intercede for them.
