The formation to the sacred priesthood is comprehensive to the effect that it focuses on the nourishment of the human character, the academic prowess, the pastoral and missionary spirit, and very importantly spiritual discernment. It is against this backdrop that the spiritual director, Rev. Fr. Augustine Famoriyo, on the 16th of October, 2018, at the occasion of the first spiritual director’s conference of the year reminded seminarians of the importance of a deep spiritual life. He also stressed vehemently on the need for seminarians to always access their spiritual directors holding them as sole confidant. In his closing words he enjoined seminarians to regularly make themselves available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and also pay close attention to their personal spiritual growth.
