It was indeed a thing of great joy as the seminary once again welcomes one of her alumni, Most Rev. Dr. Paul Adegboyega Olawore, who was recently consecrated as the co-adjuctor bishop of Ilorin diocese. His visit to the seminary was on a two-fold purpose: to welcome him as an illustrious son of Great Bodija, and to help admit the seminarians of the second year theology as candidates to the sacred priesthood.

On January 24, 2019 the day of his arrival, he was warmly welcomed and thereafter in the evening of the same day, there was a volleyball match in his honour. This activity was immediately followed with a sung Vespers in thanksgiving to God for the manifold blessings He has bestowed upon his servant and for counting him worthy to serve the Church as a bishop.

After supper, there was a social gathering in the seminary’s auditorium, where His Lordship was warmly entertained with music and dance by the seminarians. It was indeed a wonderful experience.
