Every seminarian longs to experience two major events during his years of seminary formation, and these are the All Nigerian Major Seminaries’ Games (ANMSG) and the All Nigerian Major Seminaries’ Festival of Arts and Culture (ANMSFAC). These events are considered nationwide by the various seminaries as the most reputable, and aside the fact that they are highly competitive, they are also means of fostering unity amongst the various seminaries within the country. Having waited expectantly since its last edition in 2011, the celebration of ANMSFAC, which had been postponed a few years back, was finally slated to hold in the year 2020. The event which is hosted by the St. Joseph Major Seminary, Ikot-Ekpene, is slated to hold from the 24th -28th of February, 2020.

Following the period of ardent preparations, the 37 contingents of the great Saints Peter and Paul Major Seminary, Bodija, Ibadan, journeyed to Ikot-Ekpene for ANMSFAC 2020, on the 24th of February, 2020. With the celebration of the Holy Mass at 4:00am on this day, the contingents began their journey at about 5:00am, and they were accompanied by the Vice-Rector, Very Rev. Fr. Anthony Igbekele, and the Dean of Arts & Culture Department, Very Rev. Fr. Augustine Famoriyo. As we pray for journey mercies for the contingents of all the participating seminaries and for the success of the event, we pray particularly for a resounding success for the contingents of Great Bodija.
