May and October are the two months among others of the year that are specially recognized by the Church as set aside to honour the Blessed Virgin Mary. As customary in the Seminary of Saints Peter and Paul, Bodija, Ibadan, there are usually special programs to mark the end of these Marian months.

It is in keeping with this tradition that the Seminary Community gathered together on the 31^st of October, 2021, to mark the end of this year’s October devotion. There was a candlelight rosary procession with the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary that began from the chapel through different stations in the compound, which culminated in the chapel. At the various stops, the mysteries of the rosary were announced and short reflections were read. At the end of every decade of the rosary, hymns to our Blessed Mother Mary were sung. Prayers were offered for the intentions of the Holy Father, the Seminary Community and for the entire people of God.

The Seminary Community continuously seeks the endless intercession of the Blessed Mother Mary as we anticipate a fruitful and successful Academic/Formation Session.
