After a period of break to celebrate the Yuletide Season with loved ones, the Formators and Seminarians of Saints Peter and Paul Major Seminary were happy to resume on the 4^th of January, 2022, to continue the 2021/2022 Academic/Formation Session.

However, during the break, seventeen members of the year seven class were elevated to the order of diaconate. They are: Rev. David Ugiagbe, Rev. Charles Igechi, Rev. Augustine Ogbidikhe and Rev. Michael Enema from Benin Archdiocese; Rev. Anthony Onyema, Rev. Eboh Solomon Kiddo, Rev. Abraham Aliemeke, Rev. Henry Agwuazim from Issele-ukwu Diocese; Rev. Richard Tata and Rev. Marcel Dossou from Dassa Diocese; Rev. Peter Buoro from Kotangora Diocese; Rev. Benedict Wurusibewei, Rev. Francis Ikwuakam, Rev. Francis Kemederekumor and Rev. Anthony Chukwuemeka from Bomadi Diocese; Rev. Paul Afolabi and Rev. Johnpaul Nnajiofor from Ibadan Archdiocese.

The Seminary Community congratulates these deacons, as well as prays for the grace of perseverance for the other members of the Deacons Class awaiting ordination, that they too, by God’s grace, may be blessed with the gift of ordination. The remaining part of this session was commended into God’s hands with prayers.
