THE BEGINNING OF THE 2022/2023 FORMATION/ACADEMIC SESSION AND THE BLESSING OF THE REFURBISHED ST PETER BLOCK

On the 3rd of October 2022, the Seminary Community officially resumed for the 2022/2023 Formation/Academic Session. Crowning the delight of the formators and seminarians, was the refurbished St. Peter Block- The Sixth Phase in the series of the modernization of the Student's toilets and bathrooms by the Seminary, spearheaded by the Rector, Fr Anthony Ovayero Ewherido and partly supported by the  Student's Initiative Fund. 

In light of the custom regarding the inhabiting of new/renovated structures, the entire Seminary Community congregated around St. Peter Block that evening for the blessing of the structure. The blessing of the renovated block was carried out by Archbishop Gabriel ‘Leke Abegunrin the Archbishop of Ibadan Archdiocese and the Chairman of the Seminary Commission. He welcomed the entire community back and expressed his sincere gratitude to the Rector and the entire formation team for their unflinching efforts in making developmental strides in the Seminary. The Rector expressed his appreciation to the Archbishop for making time out to be present and rounded off by conscientizing the students on the need to take proper care of the newly installed facilities. With the blessing by the Archbishop, the building was declared open for use.
