Seminary formation is a process of the configuration of the candidate to Christ in order to be used as an instrument of salvation in the Church and in the world. Such feat is attained through diverse platforms that enable the candidates to attain a continuous appreciation of the Church’s faith, develop a personal relationship with God, love for the scriptures and eucharist, and an appreciation of their vocation to the priesthood, amidst others. The faith sharing programme in our seminary is one of such platforms, as through it the candidates deepen their knowledge of the scriptures and the Catholic faith, applying also the treasures of the scriptures to their lives in order to attain the transformation required as Christians, and as priests, who act in the person of Christ–in persona Christi. This programme, which is organized monthly in our seminary, had its October edition on the 29th October, 2019, with the theme: Call to Discipleship (Luke 5:1-11). The seminarians were divided into various groups in order to adequately reflect on the theme. It is always an enriching event cherished by the seminarians.
