The National Association of Philosophy Students (NAPS), Bodija Chapter, had their first departmental lecture on the 15th of November, 2019. The session, which was another platform to foster the intellectual formation of the seminarians of Saints Peter and Paul, Bodija, Ibadan, began at 4:00pm at the seminary auditorium. The lecture, titled, Implications of the Destruction of Metaphysics to the Contemporary World, was delivered by Rev. Fr. Evaristus Igwe Alufo, C.M, a formator and lecturer at Saint Albert the Great Major Seminary, Idowu-Offoron, Abeokuta, and moderated by Mr. Peter Ikhane, a lecturer of the Department of Philosophy, Saints Peter and Paul Major Seminary, Bodija, Ibadan. Present at this intellectual forum were priests, religious, seminarians, and lecturers of the University of Ibadan. The lecture obviously engendered an enriching, educative and interactive session, as it spurred responses, questions and comments from the audience who savoured every element of its content.
