Wednesday, October 24, 2018

The 47 newly admitted students of St. Theresa’s Minor Seminary, Oke-Are, Ibadan, paid a visit to Saints Peter and Paul Major Seminary, Bodija, Ibadan for the first time. The new students were led by their rector, Rev. Fr. Christopher Jolaoso, an alumnus of the Major Seminary, on Saturday, 20th October, 2018. Having been welcomed, they were entertained in the refectory, where they ate and drank with their senior brothers in formation for the priesthood. Furthermore, an interactive session was staged between the inquisitive youngsters and the senior prefect of the Major Seminary, where they asked questions ranging from the history of the seminary to its internal operations. Thereafter, they were taken round the seminary’s monumental structures. In their short and quick visit, they left the impression of hope for the future church. They were captivated and inspired by the serenity of the atmosphere, the calm and the presence of a large number of major seminarians in formation for the priesthood.
