The Christmas carol has become overtime one of the outstanding ways through which the Seminary of Saints Peter and Paul Bodija, Ibadan reaches out and proclaims the Gospel values to all. It was a colourful sight on December 9, 2018 as throngs of people trooped into the seminary compound to witness the 2018 edition of the festival of nine lessons and carols, making a fine dilute of the white cassocks that initially filled the venue.

The crowd of the faithful were thrilled with several presentations; songs by the host choir, invited choirs, the incredible drama by Spring Theatre troupe, mesmerizing dance by Angelic steppers and the Horns Clash group to mention a few.

Despite the lively and exhilarating atmosphere, the ceremony did not lose a liturgical touch. The Christmas message delivered by Rev. Fr. Christopher Ojo of Ekiti Diocese calls for a re-evaluation of our undertakings during the Christmas, if they actually reflect the person of Christ.

Among the numerous people who were at the event are: Most Rev. Gabriel Abegunrin, Rev. Fr. (Prof.) Joseph Faniran of Osogbo diocese (Vice Rector of the Catholic Institute of West Africa, Port Harcourt), Baptist Church Oritamefa, the students of St. Thomas Aquinas College Okokomaiko, Lagos amongst others.
